6 mm-thick pyroceram work top. Heating obtained through radiant round plates placed under glass. Each radiant plate is provided with an energy regulator that adjust the working frequency to maximum power. Safety ensured by overheat control inside the radiant plates.

The pan detection system is managed by an electronic board and only allows the hotplate to be operated with the pan over the relevant area. Any pan can be used as long as it is made of metal.
 
A temperature limiter inside the hotplate protects it from overheating. Similarly, another limiter protects the control board from overheating.
An indicator light on the control panel warns the operator when the temperature on the glass exceeds 60°C.
